1995 Denizli / Türkiye

Aydem Renewables has been established.

1997 Denizli / Büyük Menderes

Aydem Renewables, by breaking the mold in the energy sector in Turkey has broke new grounds and has established Bereket I, Turkey's first private hydroelectric power plant on the Bereket irrigation canal, which is a tributary of Büyük Menderes River and has commenced energy generation in Denizli.

1998 Denizli / Türkiye

Bereket II Hydroelectric Power Plant has been established in Denizli and has commenced generation.

1999 Muğla / Dalaman

The first part of the Dalaman Hydroelectric Power Plant, established on the Dalaman River in Muğla, has commenced generation.

2004 Aydın / Feslek

Feslek Hydroelectric Power Plant, established in Aydın, has commenced generation.

2005 / 2 Muğla / Gökyar

Gökyar Hydroelectric Power Plant, established in Muğla, has commenced generation.

2005 / 1 Muğla / Dalaman

All of Dalaman Hydroelectric Power Plants I-V, established in Muğla, have commenced generation.

Mentaş Hydroelectric Power Plant, established on the Seyhan River in Adana, has commenced generation.

Kızıldere Geothermal Power Plant, established in Sarayköy district of Denizli, has commenced generation.

2009 Sivas / Kelkit

Koyulhisar Hydroelectric Power Plant, established on the Kelkit River in Sivas, has commenced generation.

2012 / 2 Denizli / Kumkısık

Kumkısık Biogas Power Plant, established in Denizli, has commenced generation.

Çırakdamı Hydroelectric Power Plant, established on the Aksu River in Giresun, has commenced generation.

2018 Tokat / Akıncı

Akıncı Hydroelectric Power Plant, established in Tokat, has commenced generation.

2020 Türkiye

  •  Aydem Energy is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
  • Aydem Renewables’ first sustainability report was published and won the "Silver Award" at the LACP Awards organized by League of American Communications Professionals.
  • As Aydem Renewables, in line with the sustainability vision, we became a signatory of the world's most comprehensive sustainability platform UN Global Compact, which offers universal principles that will shape the future of the business world.
  • As Aydem Renewables, we were ranked as leader of Turkey's electricity sector within the Environmental - Social - Governance (ESG) performance rankings, by ViGeo Eiris/Moody's, one of the world's most important independent rating company.
  • The official opening of the Akıncı Hydroelectric Power Plant, established in Tokat, was realized.

2021

  • With a transaction size of 1.3 billion TL, we realized the largest public offering in the last 3 years and started to be traded on the Istanbul Stock Exchange.
  • For the first time in Turkey, we signed a green bond issue worth 750 million dollars with the highest amount.
  • As a result of the Moody's/Vigeo Eiris Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance evaluation, we ranked number one in the sector in Turkey and "Developing Markets" world rankings.
  • We ranked 4th in Turkey's Best Employers Survey conducted by Great Place to Work Institute ®, which provides services on a global scale in terms of workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
  • In 2020, we became a participant in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), to which we are a signatory.
  • We have been declared a "Low Carbon Hero" for the third time by the Journal of Sustainable Production and Consumption (SEM-D).
  • In the reports of CDP Climate Change and Water Security, we have increased our rating to B Management Level, which is the highest rating in the energy sector in Turkey.
  • In the CDP Supplier Participation Rating (SER), we increased our rating to A Leadership Level, which is the highest rating in the energy production sector in Turkey in 2021

2022 Türkiye

  • We published our first activity report.
  • We have held our first General Assembly after the Public Offering.
  • Within the scope of the rating of the level of compliance with the "Corporate Governance Principles" published by the Capital Markets Board (CMB), we have achieved a high score of 9.48 out of 10, in the first Corporate Governance Rating made by SAHA Kurumsal Yönetim ve Kredi Derecelendirme Hizmetleri A.Ş. and we are included in the Borsa İstanbul (BIST) Corporate Governance Index (XKURY).
  • As a result of the research carried out by the Great Place to Work Institute ®, we were entitled to receive our certificate again and we were included in both Turkey's Best Employers List and the Aegean's Best Employers List.
  • We have become a signatory of the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) established in partnership with the United Nations Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment Unit (UN Women) and the United Nations Global Compact.
