Mehmet Hayati Öztürk

Mehmet Hayati Öztürk has a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Hacettepe University. He started his career in 1977 at Petkim, which has been traded on the stock exchange since 1990 and is the only large-scale petrochemical producer in Turkey, and after working in various positions there, he managed Petkim's R&D, finance, projects, investments, planning, sales and marketing areas. He was appointed as the Deputy General Manager responsible for the fields. He served as General Manager at Petkim between 2010-2012 and as a board member between 2012-2015. Mehmet Hayati Öztürk, who worked as the CEO advisor of SOCAR Turkey, Turkey's largest foreign investor, until August 2017, was appointed as an independent board member of the Company in April 2020.
